About Sammy

Teacher, musician, and author based in Atlanta, GA, Sammy Rigaud, gained international recognition when one of his “Freestyle Fridays” video went viral. He coined this program as a way to get his students excited about learning and mix it with his passion for music. 

The Haitian-American native of North Miami, FL, USA, has been seen on Good Morning America, ABC World News, The Kelly Clarkston Show, Will (Smith) at Home, and more. Sammy continues to bridge the gap between parents, students, teachers, and the church—as he incorporates his Christian faith in all that he does. He considers himself "the assignment to restore families".
